How to Save on Veterinary Costs at City Small Animal Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

This was my first time visiting the clinic. Everyone was absolutely wonderful. The Dr. made sure I understood what he was telling me about my animal, and the vet techs and office staff were just as friendly. This will be my vet of choice going forward. Thank you City Small Animal Clinic. You have made a client of me for as long as I'm in Tyler and have animals. ❤️❤️❤️

Our Boston Terrier Lexi, has been going to Dr Daughtry for years. I also let them keep her when I go out of town and they are so good with her. Dr Daughtry has the best heart for animals. The staff has been very sweet, understanding and really are good with Lexi and they tolerate me when I'm out of town, calling and checking on Lexi. I am truly blessed to have Dr Daughtry as our vet for our silly Lexi!
