How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Oak Ridge Animal Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I was looking for a low cost clinic and by reading the reviews how affordable this clinic is I made an appointment to get my cat her vaccines. This clinic is NOT LOW COST AT ALL I spend well over $300 . Next time I’ll just go to the ones that have a low cost vaccine Stands outside which are actual low cost. However, staffs were nice and friendly but won’t be going back there again.

My dog loves their staff. They're really cool and heartwarming folks. Their work has also been great. Top notch work with a real easy going attitude. So it never feels overwhelming there.

My main reason for the visit was not met due to lack of knowledge of parasites in the eye. However I felt they were fair in prices and helpful even recommending me to an eye doctor in cypress. I will be back.

Hands down the best vet clinic I have ever been to. I have a Bully, we have been coming here for I believe 7-8 years. Dr. Schneider is the only doctor I will trust with her care. He is so calm, sweet, caring, down to earth, and gentle. My bully has become a frequent flyer with her mass cell tumors she gets and she is always excited to see the girls and Dr. Schneider. I can’t say enough good things about this clinic and the care my dog and both my cats recieved. Dr. Schneider is not in his profession for the money and he very much shows that with his willingness to find the issues and take care of them. Thank yall so much for taking such good care of my babies!

I was extremely disappointed with this clinic. After many visits, seeing a different vet each time. We were never heard, and there was no resolution for my dogs medical issues. They only give 6 month shots when everyone else gives 1 year!! You are charged for each visit!! Animal has to go thru more bs (shots) to get proper treatment? Why? Make it make sense....oh wait, it's more money for the vet!! (Aren't they suppose to care about the animal?)
