How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Rotan Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I have a Collie with an auto immune disease. The Doc knew right away without us having to tell him. (First time ever) they worked him in, last minute without hesitation and I feel They were very thorough. I think I have a new vet. He and his staff are worth the drive.

These guys are the best. You can feel comfortable with them taking care of your animals. I Been using them at least 18 years I believe and have never ever had a issue with any of my dogs. They treat your animals as if they were their own. I love small town businesses they are Great. Starla

Dr Burk and staff are always friendly and ready to help whatever animal problems we have. Even my cat doesn't argue about going.

Nurse was nice to us but wudv Been betr had we ben able to split the cost of cremation of our sweet girl into 2 payments but instead had to leave her (I'm not ok with it at all, makes it harder) bcuz landlord won't let us bury her here and Vet Said Absolutely Not ON Payments. Shud b more options for people who hav to put their pets down who r low income, on SSI, or SSDI. $400+ is not a feasible option at one time wen we barely get enough to pay bills with. Seems a little heartless to me to not want to help people who can make 2 payments to cover cremation, but the nurse put some of our babygirls fur in a little vile and did paw prints for keepsakes which we appreciated. It's time for to put life over money instead of the other way around in my opinion.
