Taking our dog Riot to Veterinary Eye institute is one of the best decisions that I made in my life. Riot is 14, and due to diabetes, he developed cataracts, and lost his eye sight totally in a span of 4 months. After going through multiple doctors and inquiries we finally went to Veterinary Eye Institute. The whole process was so smooth, and Dr Kevin did the surgery and the entire office staff / nursing staff are so nice. Never had any trouble at all. Thank you to very one at VEI. Riot is a happy dog again, jumping and running. It is a joy to watch him. A last note about the costs. VEI gave me an estimate on the day 1 when we went there for the consultation. And, the cost was on lower than many other hospitals. And comparing to one other hospital, VEI is 30% less. And, for pre operation test their actual cost was only half the estimate. Thank you VEI for honestly charing us. Lastly, once again thank you, and if anyone is still in the process of deciding on the hospital, my experience there will hopefully give you some confidence.

This is an awesome eye institute. The staff and the receptionist are friendly. The doctors and assistants are professional and thorough. The facility is clean, warm and inviting.

Every single person here is wonderful and they treat you and your pets like family. We called after hours for an emergency and they got us in first thing the next morning for surgery. Thank you VEI for taking such great care of us

We have been patients for several years since my pet had corneal damage. The doctors here are great but a recent experience left us quite upset. They have a policy of $115 eye exams if you show up annually. They give a 1 month grace period post that. Looks like we missed that date by 1 week and called to schedule the annual appointment today. We are now being billed as new customers at the rate of $220. The office won’t work with us although we are established patients and come every year. Our last appointment being Nov 2024. This is really sad and has left us with a very bad feeling about this practice

Amazing care by EVERYONE, from the Veterinary doctors, technicians and front desk! VEI plano TRULY has cared about my dog, my concerns and his wellbeing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! My dog had eye surgery with them almost a year ago , all went well and he continued to get check ups. He is so much better now :) !!
