Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Took my 7 week old puppy here because he wasn’t feeling too well. We waited for a while due to it being a walk-in, but as soon as we went in Doctor treated him right away. The staff was sweet to us and to my puppy. 👍

Went to drop my dog off for her scheduled boarding at 11am Saturday. The place is closed and nobody to be seen. This is after I’ve called and confirmed her stay. Now I’m not sure of what we will do because I have nowhere we can leave our dog and I’m supposed to be leaving out of town right now. Place is a joke never trust them they will mess you over.

I took my rabbit to 8th St. Animal Hospital as a walk-in. From the moment we arrived everyone in the waiting room was praising Dr. Wade for how great he is with animals which I have never seen elsewhere. This says a lot about his practice. Even though they were incredibly busy, they made sure that all the walk-ins would be seen. Dr. Wade and his staff were very professional, did a great job with my rabbit, and answered all my questions knowledgeably and with patience. I am glad I found a great veterinarian in the Permian Basin to help take care of my best friend!

Very good neuter, had no problems at all. Reasonable price. Loved the fish tanks to make the time pass.

I've been taking my furry children to 8th street vet for quite some time. The only time I'm upset with them is when I feel like I've been waiting a bit too long before seeing the doctor, other than that the crew here love the pets that they care for and all the people that work there are friendly, you will love Joanne! My pets have been taken care of well by this team, from regular check-ups and shots to minor surgeries. It is where I will keep taking my pets!
