How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Parkside Animal Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

This is the second time I’ve use this veterinary office. The first time was for my cat and the second time was for my dog. Everyone was lovely and really cared about my puppy and tried to figure out why she was in pain. They got her some meds and she’s on the mend and they even texted me the next day to check on her. I 100% recommend them and I will be using them again.

I was seeing another vet in the area and was not happy. We got a new puppy and took him here for the first time. They were kind, informative, and answered all my questions. I will definitely be bringing all my pets here!

Excellent customer service - no excessive time on hold when we call. Roomy lobby so pets can have space and relax while waiting. All questions always answered without doctors or techs rushing to next family. It’s obvious they love every patient!

Parkside has the best veterinary care my pets have ever experienced. Every staff member is knowledgeable and caring and I have complete confidence in their suggestions, observations and therapies. I only wish I had found them sooner!

Parkside animal hospital has been taking care of my pets since we moved here in 2004. Our cat Jake was already 10 when we got here and lived another 9 and 1/2 years and I don't think we could have handled his passing without the great people at Parkside. We got a puppy 2 months after that and they've taken care of her for the last 11 years. She was a rescue and we love her to pieces but she does have a lot of health concerns. Hypothyroidism, high anxiety, absolutely no enamel on her teeth, LOL and they have gone above and beyond to help us take care of her.
