Earlier this year, I was looking for a new vet for our 18 year-old geriatric cat since we've had less-than-stellar experiences at a multiple vets here in Katy (some of them very highly regarded). I happened across Blue Bear and decided we'd give them a try. I am so very, very glad that we did. Dr. Kwon is quite literally the best vet I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Not only does Sandwich like her, we like her as well. She listens, she explains and clarifies as needed, and you can tell that vet medicine is truly her passion. Everyone we've dealt with at the clinic is great: Peyton, Ashely, Tara -- they're kind, helpful, considerate, and most importantly, Sandwich gets along with them. The clinic looks clean and smells clean while not coming off as overly clinical. The lighting is comfortable and not abrasive, and they play calming music. It's truly a relaxing place to be. As a side note, one of reasons we had trouble with our previous vet was communication, and that's not even remotely a problem with Dr. Kwon and her team. Whenever we need something, they're there. We don't worry that we're gonna get ghosted or that Sandwich is going to be forgotten anymore. We'd almost given up hope of finding someone like Dr. Kwon, but I'm glad we did. She's also a cat person, and I appreciate this because she personally understands the complexities and unique issues that come with being a cat parent. Ultimately, we cannot thank Dr. Kwon and her staff enough. They've all contributed to helping slow the progression of Sandwich's chronic illness and stay as healthy as he possibly can. If you're looking for a vet you can trust and who actually cares about helping your four-legged family members, you can stop now. Dr. Kwon's the real deal.

Took a trip to Blue Bear yesterday with Dr. Kwon and Laura. Both ladies were very helpful and brought a lot of insight on Shakira’s situation. Vet visits can be scary as a pet owner but it was a very welcoming environment and I felt reassured that everything will be okay. Dr. Kwon and Laura performed surgery on Shakira and it was a successful one. Babygirl is home safe and recovering. Definitely would recommend you to pay a visit to this clinic.

Dr. Kwon is very nice and smart . She spent a lot of time for my dog and reassured me with plenty of explanations. The staff working with her were also very friendly. The price is definitely not more expensive than at other clinics.

Dr. Kwon is really nice and her staff is very welcoming. I took one of my puppies to Dr. Kwon because my puppy ate something that was making her have an upset stomach. Dr. Kwon and her team answered all of my questions and treated my puppy. I was really happy that I found Dr. Kwon because I was also looking into getting my two puppies spayed. I later scheduled my puppies to get spayed. The team reached out to me right after surgery and days following the surgery to check on my pups. My first time with female pups, so I was nervous, but they have been available when I have questions and concerns.

I love this new clinic that opened up just outside Firethorne. We had our first visit yesterday and to start, the online booking request was easy to use even as a new patient. We were able to get in timely and greeted immediately upon our arrival. Ashley was super attentive and immediately worked to get our 5mo old pup comfortable. Dr. Kwon was personable and very thorough, she took time to walk through each thing and answer all my questions. She took care with Winnie, even though she was noticeably nervous and Dr Kwon and Ashley took the time to reassure her multiple times. The pricing seems reasonable compared to other local vets. We were very happy with our visit and look forward to an ongoing relationship to keep our new pup healthy.
