Dr. Reese and Dr. Lipsey have been taking care of my pups for over a decade. Their team has always been so friendly, and they're always accommodating when life happens and you have to bring a pup in without an appointment. Last year I had to put a pup down due to cancer, and they handled such a tough day and time in life with incredible sensitivity and sincerity. This team cares about you and your animals with genuineness. It's always sad to see a one star review stick around on someones page, because reading the only negative review Dr. Reese and his team have it's pretty obvious that they were not the issue. This person with their negative review went and gave bad reviews to vets across the county that are trying to run a good business. I'd give Dr. Hal and Dr. Lipsey 6 stars if I could, and I'm grateful to have them on call to keep my pups healthy.

Dr Reece and his office staff thought it more important today 1-31-17 to put me and "Marley" off because of my inability to POSSIBLY pay the bill IN FULL TODAY. Mind you "Marley" is pooping blood, is bruising, has petechiae, bruising on her gums and is lethargic ALL SYMPTOMS OF POSSIBLE RAT POISONING not found in my home. I was told not to ask for free services. I explained my funds get deposited at midnight on the 1st of the month 2-1-17 (tomorrow) literally hours away. I really didn't feel I was asking the world just for the Dr to uphold his oath. Yes uphold the ethics set forth by the AVMA. In the Principles section and Principles with Annotations section it covers circumstances just like this. To treat ANY animal in an EMERGENCY and not allow FINANCIALS to influence treatment especially as it may cast a bad light on the way others view the entire veterinarian class as a whole. Shame Shame on this Dr and staff. BTW "Marley" is a certified and registered service animal, I need her; beyond the fact that I simply love and adore her. And, "Marley" & I just recently relocated to Wise county...Welcome to Wise County "Marley" I miss my old vet who cared, genuinely gave a darn about the animal not the $$$$ at the end of the day. All 4 vet clinic numbers I called in Decatur also said NO to treating "Marley" as well. I guess they assume if they all treat patients/clients the same with common policies they'll make their quotas. Well think again when you are ALL up for REVIEW with the AVMA and taking time off to answer for your actions, the paperwork, the bad publicity and may God have mercy on your souls if "Marley" doesn't make it through.
