How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Aggieland Animal Health Center & Pet Resort

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We’re lucky to have a lot of vets around town, but this place is my favorite! I love that the staff knows me and my dogs, and the vets and vet techs do a great job explaining treatment, procedures, and pricing options (in detail!). I have an old dog and a dog with epilepsy, so their care and attention is so important to me. When I had to go to the ER at night, they reached out to check in after TAMU small animal hospital sent the records over :) definitely recommend!

We called most of the vets in town but found Aggieland Animal Health Centre to be the best in regards to information they provide and how helpful they were. Upon bringing our new Puppy Pug Luna to the vet, we were greeted with a very friendly and professional atmosphere. I could tell everyone there truly loved animals and I felt our pet was in amazing hands. The doctor was very informative and had a vast wealth of knowledge, experience and we will be transferring our other Pug here too strictly due to how amazing the experience was. Thank you!! ❤️🐶

Year after year, my three kitties always come home healthier than before! The staff are extremely knowledgeable and have gotten the diagnosis right every time. They provide coherent documentation which makes it easy to file visits with my pet insurance agency. The staff even reach out via online messaging to check up on your companions after a recent visit. Splendid! :3

My dog had a medical issue. I called his normal vet and they told me it would be a week before they could see him. Then their normal vet said it sounded serious but could do anything until next week. I asked her if she was in pain and couldnt walk could you wait a week? I drove around college station and found Aggieland Animal Vet. They said they had several appointments as well but they insisted I bring my dog anyway for them to look at him and would work him in between other appointments. Within 30 min of me dropping off my dog they called me back and told me what was going on with him and treatment options. I was impressed. The staff was incredibly. I loved how the doctor took the time and personally called me back regarding the treat of my puppy. They have everything there. This was Juneau's first visit and he loved the staff and Doctors. My top pick for vet in college station. Thank you Aggieland
