They have boarded our dog twice and our cat once. Our dog gets so excited as soon as we start heading in the door. She is so hyper that it is almost impossible for me to contain her. She loves it there. The staff is friendly and professional. The prices are excellent. We have had both our pets vaccines updated and I was shocked how inexpensive it was. Definitely worth the longer drive for us to go there. Always clean reception area with plenty of searing. Wide variety of quality pet foods available to buy.

This is my Gran Pup Batman . He suffered a heat stroke while helping my son Inlaw an daughter clean their yard ! We rushed him to this clinic THEY TOOK HIM INSIDE PUT HIM IN A ROOM then they turned him away an had my kids drive with him an hr away to lake Charles because they said they were done for the day an didn’t even bother to get his temp down before sending them off . The vet in Louisiana stated that my gran pup would have had a better fighting chance had they not been neglectful but they were an my daughter lost her baby at midnight . I am taking action for this poor choice decision. There is a 50/50 chance for heat stroke pups to survive but with the actions this vet didn’t take it only gave Batman a small window of survival. My house is so broken he wasn’t a pet to us he was family a now he is gone !

We appreciate Sherwood Animal Clinic! Everyone was so kind to our family! We were still in panic mode due to experiencing an emergency over the weekend with Harley 🐕 🐶, but Sherwood staff took wonderful care of our family. Each staff member I encountered took the time to explain what was going to happen next and what we need to do to follow up in the weeks/months to come regarding Harley and our kittens that will have appointments soon (we are new pet owners with a better understanding of what we need to do)! my dog was injured yesterday and I called the vet and they had me come in so they can check her… Graciela had answer the phone call & was so sweet I made room for me to come in and such short notice. this is my dogs normal vet I 100% recommend them. The staff are always so sweet. My dog is very reactive and the staff has such great patience and still help her with everything she needs. Thank you guys I really appreciate everyone here for helping my dog!!

Our dog was brought in distress and suffering with heat stroke only to be turned away because the clinic was closing in 20 minutes. The vet was too busy to see her and the staff told us to wait for the after hours clinic to open. I will never recommend this clinic. After reading the reviews, I can see we are not the first to receive such poor treatment.
