How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Tri-County Veterinary Services

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I started taking my animals to Tri County at least 10 years ago, we hadn’t been in a long time and I had to take my cat to get vaccinations. My cat does not do well with other people and I was anxious about how the visit would go. She has been put to sleep before in the past and I really didn’t want to do that. Dr. Garner was absolutely amazing with my cat, he talked to her and took his time to make her comfortable and she took her shots like a champ. I’ve never seen a vet handle her so well. I highly recommend this clinic!

The test of a good veterinary service is how they respond in crisis. We had a barn cat slice her tummy open and they handled the situation seamlessly. We’ve also had to put a beloved cat down and it was handled beautifully. The office is clean and attractive. Appointments easily made and I have found them extremely timely. During Covid they made taking care of all our animals so easy. Lastly, we have barn cats that need just the bare minimum of care. I love that Tri County respects that and never tried to foist unneeded shots or expensive care on us as other vets have.

So far best experience I've had at a vet tho. Due to covid we couldn't go inside with our baby boy but once they came out to get him and return him they was very kind and helpful. Only giving 4 starts and not 5 cus I couldn't go in and see how they handled him but from wat i saw they did perfectly fine .

This was my first time taking Luna! Everyone was so friendly (my dog is scared of literally everything) and patient with Luna, while she spent over 5 minutes smelling them! Everything was quick and painless for her! Photos I’m sharing, is Luna’s attitude with me after everything was done! (Heart worm test, shots and fingernail clip). I highly recommend them, and we have found our permanent vet! (Picture is how she felt about me taking her 😆)
