How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Double Springs Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr Campbell and her crew are our doggies' best friends. We have used their services for 6 years now, and even though we no longer live in Greer, we have no problem making the trip when it comes to using the best.

We just started going here with our 3 pets (2 dogs and 1 cat) and I was absolutely thrilled with the treatment we received! The staff was extremely friendly, personable, and caring. I liked the openness of the waiting area and that it wasn't overbooked and crowded. I personally felt like the prices were fair and competitive. I can't imagine that I would trust services that's weren't priced fairly for the products being provided or the services being offered.... I plan on continuing care here with my pets and look forward to working with the staff for a healthy and happy life for my pets!

Upon the first visit with my sheltie pup I was impressed. The staff and doctor seemed caring and friendly. The cracks started to show shortly after. To remove his dew claws, neuter and microchip was over $700. The microchip alone was $100. That is twice what it costs anywhere else. After the surgery communication became difficult. I would call or send an email and it would take days to get a response, if at all. The final straw came when I needed to put one of my cats down. I called and was told that I would have to pay for an exam as she was not a patient. Along with the other charges it was going to be over $200 and there were no appts that day. Why at such a time of distress and sadness do you choose to gouge your customers. I went elsewhere and found very compassionate and properly priced services. Looking back at all the charges I had for my puppy, they were nearly double what it costs elsewhere. Do your homework people.
