How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Banfield Pet Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Banfield is a wonderful place to have your pet cared for by people who love animals ❤️ Spot my Puppy lived 16 years with Banfields help. He died 12/10/22 He's the best dog ever. His brother killer the cat is best cat brother ever:)

By far the worst vet ever, very unprofessional and rude. Save your time and find another vet. I’ve never in my life been talked to so rudely especially when situations are 100% on them and try to blame the customer. Atleast take accountability for your wrongs. Place should be shut down!

I have brought my dog to Banfield for 7 years and have always had a great experience. The staff is always kind, professional and it’s obvious that they truly care for the pets like they are their own. My dog is a sickly dog so I have been to almost all local Banfield locations as they work together to find availability for my pet quickly and they all show the same professionalism and care for my pet. I do have to say Dr. Cruz in Greer is incredible though!!

I had written a pretty horrible, long, ranting review a few months ago detailing several experiences I’ve had over the years with different Banfield locations. To be fair, my review was truthful and accurate, but it wasn’t fair to tell experiences from other locations on this one’s review page. That being said, I don’t recommend any Banfield, including this one. And here is my experience with this particular location. My dog is currently recovering from a major surgery (done by another vet) that she should have had 2 years ago, but didn’t bc Dr. Stallings did not take the time to properly understand or listen to my concerns about what was going on. It wasn’t until I took my dog to a local vet that she got the proper attention she needed to get her diagnosed and fixed. During appointments about the issue with my dog, Dr. Stallings rolled her eyes at me on several occasions and acted like I was stupid for asking questions, which actually ended up needing answers and if she had taken the time to answer and listen my dog may have gotten the proper care she needed in a timely manner. However, instead, they have lost a customer and and earned yet another bad review. Also, don’t get sucked into the wellness plan. They will push and push, and then you will just about have to sell your soul to get out of it. My suggestion? Go to a local vet. They care a lot more about your pet and their practice than this big cooperation that only cares about your money.
