How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Cornell Center Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr. David May and the staff are wonderful! I really appreciate that they give options when it comes to treating our two doggies, the more “heavy duty” approach or the “entry level and monitor” approach, they give you well informed options while making sure our dogs get the best care! Our two girls just received dentals and they were very careful to explain everything, it was the most thorough post opp appointment! Mason, one of their techs was awesome and you could tell he has a great combo of knowledge, experience, and love for animals! Great team overall and very trustworthy!

Great, first visit and my dogs loved all the attention they received. Vet was great and very personable. Glad I switched so far.

I have brought my dog here since I moved to Oregon about 4 ish years ago. They're super friendly, pretty affordable, and everyone makes you feel like they actually care about your pet. They had diagnosed my dog with cancer about 2 or so years ago, recommended a specialist, and she's been doing amazing ever since. They caught it so quick. This is my favorite place to take my dog.

Our mini goldendoodle Poppy and I love CCAH! We’d been to another vet previously but switched over to CCAH because they were the only clinic around able to get Poppy in to be fixed while she was still a puppy. I love the app they use, makes communication so much easier. Only vet clinic to tell me about the Zoetis program to earn money back on Poppy’s flea meds, which I appreciated (have gotten $40 back so far!), and were also willing to call her RX in to Costco pharmacy so I could save money. Tracey at the front desk is the best and Dr. Mays is one of the friendliest vets I’ve met (and I’ve met quite a few!) Unlike other vets, you don’t have to wait weeks to get in and I never feel like they’re trying to upsell me. I believe they take Care Credit as well if needed. Thanks CCAH!

I am so thankful for Cornell Center Animal Hospital. We are visiting from out of state and when our furry friends got extremely sick with intestinal parasites the Dr's and staff were not only knowledgeable and professional they were also patient and kind! Olive and Cookie are very important members in our family and believe Cornell treats them as if they were family too.
