How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Valley Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We take all of our pets to Valley Hospital. We have two cats and two dogs. The front desk staff s very courteous and always smiling and helpful. They are a pleasure to have take care of our appointments. They have went above and beyond several times for me. The vet techs are also very kind and patient. They listen with empathy and make the visit stress free for our pets. Vet wise...I usually see Dr. Fox mostly but have had Dr Manz too. I love them both and they are very respectful of our choices of care while also educating us on processes. Highly recommend.

Thank you for taking care of my baby Atlas for so many years. And for going above and beyond in time of mourning. If you need a good vet to be family, and care about you as their own… look no further you found it.

I have been going to Valley Animal Hospital for a number of years. Recently my one cat (who is in 2nd stage kidney failure) had a UTI. Called first thing on Monday morning and was told they were too busy to work her into their schedule. She had not urinated since Friday night. I had taken her to the er around 10:00 PM on Friday night and was told there was a minimum 5 hour wait provided no emergencies came in. I chose to take her home thinking I could at least drop her off on Monday. They couldn't be bothered! After talking with friends who use to go Valley Animal I found out this is not unusual! Will be taking my 2 cats to Creekside which comes highly recommended! Also, ended up going to a walk-in clinic....PetVet! They were great. Limited hours but were able to treat her and better yet at a very afforable price.
