For me, everything is important. EVERYONE at MedVet (Akron) is so far beyond excellent!! My kitten Penelope & I have, unfortunately for her, been a frequent flyer at MedVet. We had Dr. Cohen this time and she was absolutely fantastic!! Dr’s Gerding, Costanza, Callard, Brooks have ALL been compassionate, caring, understanding and outstanding with Penelope’s care!! They are my “family” members for life!! Due to their commitment to excellence is why my Penelope is still with us today!! They truly care about each pet that they treat. Penelope has always been treated like family member, not just some sick animal. There is NOWHERE ELSE that I will ever take any of my pets in their dire time of need. My only negative is that I cannot receive care from them!! Thank you to the ENTIRE MedVet (Akron) staff. Jessica & Anna (Dr. Brooks) Judy, Mary and others at the reception desk and EVERYONE else I have not mentioned…. Thank you!! You are ALL Angels using your God given gifts of compassion and knowledge to the fullest extent and beyond to help the helpless…. Thank You doesn’t cover the deep appreciation that I have for you….

They took in our cat ASAP when she was having issues breathing and becoming very lethargic. I don't really mind how long it takes to hear something back, but I can understand how frustrating it can be not knowing what's going on. I waited for about 2 hours before these knowledgeable professionals explained the situation to me. The upfront costs are understandable because this is an emergency facility. This isn't a normal visit to the vet clinic. For the next two days they kept us updated on her condition and continued to run tests to understand the root cause. I'm very appreciative that they did everything they could to help her recover, but unfortunately she just couldn't keep fighting anymore. Throughout the short journey and even past the end of it, MedVet was extremely helpful and compassionate through and through. I really appreciate all the work each of these great individuals put in for our cat - day in and day out. I absolutely recommend this vet hospital to those in need.

I recently got out of vet med, and with my experience the staff here are very efficient and compassionate. Took great care of my pup that’s riddled with anxiety, and they take care of us too in the lounge with a vending machine, drinks, TV, and a charging station.

We had an emergency visit for our dog, they did everything they could to save her, but unfortunately she was just too sick. They kept us updated the entire time and the team was very caring. I can't say enough good things about the team at Medvet I would highly recommend them

My kitten and I had a very good experience for our emergency visit. Yes, it was a long wait but the staff for the night shift and the next morning shift were pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful, and patiently answered all my questions. I don’t want or expect a fast turn around for quality care. I live 45 minutes away but would not hesitate to go back to MedVet Akron. Thank you to Dr Barrett, April, Randi, and to all you great ladies up front.
