Our cat had a great time there and got all cleaned up. They are very on top of communicating with us on the plan. We will be back when Dave needs another haircut.

Oak Heart Vet Hospital has been an amazing resource for our pet bunnies over the years. Dr. Brown is a calm and gentle soul, and very knowledgeable about rabbits and she genuinely cares. I appreciate that she doesn't jump to evasive procedures like some other vets would and provides extra knowledge for bunny care. We just had an opportunity to meet Dr Rochte and he was very understanding and has a very thoughtful and caring demeanor. He was very thorough with checking our bunny not only for the issue I brought him in for but also his general well being and health. I highly recommend them for not recommending expensive procedures if they are not needed, and for causing the least amount of stress for our animals. They are truly caring individuals and take their time to really assess things and provide the best possible care. Some vets are about the money but they are all about the care.

It has been difficult to find a location to leave a review re: Oak Park at Lake Boone — our experience was not a good one, and I want to let others know. I switched from one vet practice to Oak Park (I read good reviews online) because our elderly dog was not getting attention or communication from our other vet (breathing issues and weight loss). I explained these details to the older vet woman (she’s probably retired now) and was assured they would communicate with me. Our dog began to decline a few weeks later at age 14 and NO ONE at the practice would call me back to schedule an appt.or give feedback or any support. It was awful to watch our dog suffer and decline. Our dog died of pulmonary hypertension a week later at Animal Emergency Hospital. Oak Park Vet could have helped to guide us during our dog’s decline and could have been communicative and supportive. They were absent and it was an awful experience for us.

We see Dr. Rochte but love all of the staff here. The front desk is really nice and helpful. The practice takes plenty of time for my fearful pup.

We are new to the area and had a wonderful first experience at Oak Heart Veterinary Hospital. They were able to fit us in last minute, and helped give me peace of mind when my dog wasn’t feeling well. Dr. Rochte listened to my concerns and was very thoughtful in providing me with the best recommendations for my dog. He was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable and my dog was comfortable the entire visit. Everyone that I encountered at the facility was professional, friendly and I trust that my dog will get excellent care here.
