How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Carolina Veterinary Dermatology Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr is excellent & assistants are very kind and helpful. They have given extra effort for us as 1st time dog owners in teaching us how to administer medicine, clean her ears well, etc. We are very confident in their advice and care for our puppy!

As soon as I came through the door I was treated like a member of the family. They were as worried about my pup as I was. They Dr. Hinn understood that I was frustrated that I had been working with other vets and trying to help my puppy for the past year. His skin condition had gotten so bad and my vet and I had tried almost everything. Dr. Hinn laid out everything they were gonna do and set about helping my guy. He was well taken care of, given treats for being a good puppy and he came home that afternoon feeling better already. He didn't scratch and I think he had the first night sleep he has had, without scratching in a year. It was fantastic. Will I go back... of course I will, no question. And I encourage you and your puppy to as well!!

Unbelievable how attentive the folks in this practice are. Our Cavalier KCS Henry received excellent medical treatment for his environmental allergies and the follow up care has been beyond what we could have ever thought. Such caring animal lovers work here.

Dr Hinn and her team are the best hands down . We drove 2 1/2 hours each way to see her and it was so worth it . We only wish we came here 2 years ago instead of being mislead by other basic vets . Tucker is now on the road to recovery .

Cleanest office we've ever been in lol! Excellent doctor. Tech/receptionist is hilarious. At our first visit, our Adeline wasn't on enough gaba - they still handled her well. They provided us w/ excellent instruction on giving Adeline her allergy injections! Thank you!
