Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Care first animal hospital at Glenwood is the best! They are super friendly and very flexible with appointments and boarding. I feel very confident leaving my baby in their hands! I trust them 100% when making judgement calls with my baby. Thanks again for the great care and service you provide!

This past week we had to put our cat of 14 years down. It was certainly not easy on me what so ever. I came in crying and felt no judgment at all by the workers. The staff is very friendly and our vet talked us through the process which was very comforting. After we put our cat down, a week later we received a card signed by all the staff which made me feel happy. Just when I thought that was nice enough the following day they sent us flowers. Truly grateful for such a comforting experience. Happy my cat was in good hands. Thank you!

I love Care First at Glenwood so much! They have taken such good care of all of my dog's needs, from grooming to vaccinations to boarding. Anytime he has fallen sick (as he has a very sensitive stomach), they set his appointment times at very early times that make it convenient and appropriate to be seen for his emergency. He's recently had some GI issues in which we've had to keep him at Care First for hospitalization for a few days, and the vet staff have gone above and beyond for my baby. Thank you, Care First!

We are regulars. Freckles is on the preventative maintenance plan that has really saved him tons on his care the last 1.5 year. He is currently being treated for cancer and they have done an excellent job helping us maintain his comfort measures. Ketamine > Gabepentin … he struggled with the stomach irritation to anyone else looking at pain management.

The Care First Glenwood team were our care providers for the last year of our elderly dog's life, after years of using other vets who charged more and with less transparency, without a noticeable difference in the level of care provided. When the time came to say goodbye to our pet, Dr. Ortiz was a gracious partner, who treated us both--my dog and myself--with kindness and compassion. I am grateful for her and for the Care First team.
