How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Shoreline Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I just started taking my pups to Shoreline and it’s by far the best vet I’ve been too. The staff is personable and you can tell they love what they do! I also had an emergency with my two puppies and when I called they said to bring them right in..even though they were about to close. They took care of my puppies as soon as we walked through the door! I definitely recommend Shoreline if you want staff you can trust with your animals. Thank you!

I have always had a excellent experience when I take my dogs and cats to Dr. Slater. The staff are always helpful and caring. I have needed them in a few cases the same day due to cat sickness and they have never hesitated to help me. Thank you to Dr.Slater and the staff for being there for me and my pets.

Great experience! They patiently answered all of my questions and showed genuine care for my doggos. I felt comfortable, Sarah and all the staff were kind and helpful. They provided some helpful advice on some issues we'd been having and it's working quite well. I look forward to our next visit.

Dr Slater is an amazing vet and all the vet assistants are too! You can tell the DR and everyone who works there genuinely cares about getting your animals taken care of. Dr Slater works so hard to make sure every single animal is seen in her work day even if that means everyone has to stay past closing! If you’re looking for a vet that has a big heart and staff that works hard for you and your pet go to shoreline!

Friendly staff, clean environment, great prices. One of my dogs got their collar off and ate it! I took her here and they managed to get my dog to vomit out the pieces of the collar. They were so calm and treated my dog as if it was their own! Highly recommended!!!
