How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Carolina Forest Animal Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

These guys at Carolina Forest have taken care of our girls for years now. Sure, it may get expensive sometimes, but animals are more than that to us. The staff are polite and friendly and always helpful! Lastly, Dr. Howard is a really nice guy and he treats every animal that he cares for like it is his own pet. Our girls are highly treat-motivated and they are never lacking in giving them plenty of affection and helping them feel better about going to the vet. Highly recommend. Thanks guys.

Dr Howard takes care of my 3 dogs (one is diabetic) and one cat and I trust him completely! He started with my 15 year old choodle over 10 years ago and is one of the few people on the planet that she tolerates. Everyone on the staff is wonderful and helpful.

The staff at the Carolina Forest Animal Clinic went above and beyond for my Lucky Penny 🫶🏻💜 she was well taken care of during her first visit to renew her shots. I relocated and when I needed her records the kind and very helpful receptionist aided me in what I needed for my baby. Thank you to all the staff for all the hard work and dedication you put into your clinic.

They have got to be one of the best veterinarian I've had in a long time. I highly recommend Carolina Forest, they treat you like family each time. The process is simple and fast. Both my pet's have had minor surgeries and both you can't even tell where they had it.

Just switched my animals over and so far very happy! Love the doc and his mannerisms. This is the first office where we don't go back with the doc for the exam and such.... that's a first for me but I'm SURE there's good reason (safety or animal anxiety or space) our doggos and kitties have no complaints:)
