How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Camp Lejeune Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I took my 2 and a half month puppy to them for her first shots and asked them about a microchip.First red flag, they took her to the back to do everything.Second red flag I heard them talking bad about me and my dog from the other room.Third they made her yelp and holler with whatever they were doing to her, which i totally understand if normal for puppies. The next day I noticed a lump on her shoulder which grew throughout the day.which then lead her to have surgery to remove.I’ve been told from multiple vet techs and surgeons that whoever gave her the shot was not properly trained and obviously didn’t know how to do her job.My puppy is now is on the verge of passing away from a mistake that very well should have been avoided.I have spent almost $1000 to have her recover from the mishap and there is nothing more I can do.I will never go back again.
