How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I have been to this location 3 times now and each time the staff have been so kind and accommodating to me and my dog. My girl is very socially anxious and does not do great with other dogs or unfamiliar spaces - they always make sure the waiting room is clear for us and they are so great at calming her down for her exams! The staff are very knowledgeable and genuinely want to help how ever they can. It’s important to note that the place is also always nice and clean! I could not say enough good things about this place, I’m so glad we found it!

I went to vetco because my ‘home’ vet was too booked to look at my dog’s ears for allergies. I didn’t have the highest hopes that I would even get in. I was originally denied they had availability but Dani (sweetest thing ever) insisted she could get me in as a walk in. Her and Dr. Rogers were so compassionate with my dog and turned my stressful day into such a positive day! I’m overly impressed because I feel as if I was being a crazy dog mom for something so minor. They treated her on the spot and gave me tips, etc. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Rogers and Dani were amazing with my cat, Paisley! They were very kind and gentle with her, and made sure she felt safe. They were transparent with costs, suggestions, and future care. There was not a single step of the process in which I felt blindsided or as if my cat was treated poorly. I most definitely recommend taking your pets to Dr. Rogers at Vetco!

Every single person I dealt with at Vetco Total Care was wonderful! Over the phone, I was helped to get an appointment next day. I was alerted to finding the online coupon for a free first visit exam. Dr. Rogers and vet tech Danielle were exceptional with their care, time, explanations/education and I felt all decisions were made collaboratively. They just loved on my cat. And the final bill was quite reasonable. Definitely will be a returning patron.

Got a puppy last Tuesday and he had his 1st exam here yesterday. I described some symptoms he's had since Saturday and they told me he was fine and today he passed away from parvo judging by all the symptoms he's had that escalated for the worst today. The facebook ad said the free wellness exam included bloodwork among other things and that wasn't offered or done in yesterday's exam, which if it had been done or the fecal testing would've caught that he was very sick actually and needed prompt treatment. As a first time dog owner, I had no idea it was that bad til I spoke with another vet tech from another clinic and he said to take him in asap to a vet but he passed very shortly after I ended that call. If this location had actually done the exam properly instead of taking shortcuts, they would've caught his illness and I could've started treatment and saved his life. The one good thing I'll say is Dr. Rogers and Jennie both seemed very kind and professional but I really wish the full exam had been done properly and the pup would've had a fighting chance. RIP Archie.
