The best veterinarian office/hospital in Lee's Summit! Our puppies have seen Dr David Hertzog and Dr Susan Schatz, both are so kind, gentle, and professional. The receptionists and techs are also great with people and puppies! Highly recommend!!

I've always gone out of my way to take my animals here because of the level of care they receive. The staff members are extremely accommodating and I honestly couldn't be more thankful. I was having trouble trimming my German shepherd's nails and they readily assisted, even though it basically took a small army to get it done. They were very understanding of my girl's temperament and made our vet appointment far less stressful than I initially thought it would be.

My wife and I had to put our 16 year old rat terrier Skip down recently, and Dr. Hertzog and the staff at Lee's Summit animal hospital were tremendously helpful and empathetic throughout the entire process. Under the circumstances, we seriously couldn't have asked for better care during Skip's last moments of life - truly a class act. Praise God for Dr. Hertzog and the entire staff - we are very thankful to have them in our lives. Psalm 145:9 says, "The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works." Dr. Hertzog and the staff at LS animal hospital are exemplary evidence of God's providence in clearly showing His tender mercies toward the animals He has made.

We have been taking our dogs and cat to Drs. Thies and Hertzog for fourteen years and have been very pleased. They have seen us through some tough decisions and have directed us to a specialist when they were stumped...which was only once. The drs listen to their pets' owners and make great suggestions for treatment options. Also, the office is easy to get in and out, the staff is friendly and they take walk ins. It's a breeze to walk in, grab some Frontline or any other prescription. They may be a little expensive compared to some others, but our family thinks they are worth it.
