How to Save on Veterinary Costs at D'Adamo Veterinary Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I live right down the street. My dog had a heart attack and we called them to see if they could do anything to save her. Literally five houses away. She said they were full and to call a different location. She had zero heart. Did not care even the slightest bit. My dog died. They could have saved her and they chose to let her die. I get they’re full, but her heart was giving out and she had so little time. They knew that and they let her die. My dog was 5 years old. They only help when it’s non-life threatening. They could have helped her and got her stable enough that we could have taken her to a better facility. But it doesn’t matter to them.

What an incredible place! The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable, and compassionate beyond words. They truly care about my pets and myself. Every single member on staff feels like family. We have 2 elderly dogs that have had a number of health issues for years. Due to the caring and knowledge of everyone there we got many more years with our dogs that we would not have had taking them anywhere else. We recently had to make a heartbreaking decision with one, the staff was so empathtic, caring and respectful during this emotional time. I will never take my loved pets anywhere else. Thank you so much D'Adamo!

The staff at this vet clinic have always taken such good care of my animals. When my cat was put down (at OVRS) the staff called me personally to share their condolences and made a donation to a scholarship program in his honor.

We've been bringing out cats here for years because all of the vets are tremendous with our fur babies! We took in a stray cat and wanted to get him checked out, scanned for a microchip, vaccinated, and tested for feline leukemia. We named him Smokey because he's got beautiful grey fur. Well, it turned out that Smokey is a girl, and she's pregnant! I'm looking forward to bringing all the kittens here for their care until they've been placed in their forever homes. 3/26/2022 The kittens had their first well visit and they're all in good health!

If you're looking for great care for your children....try D'Adamo. Michelle Adzigian and Kelly Schoenherr are incredible vets. They've cared for Nicholas, Wootan and all my babies for the last 21 years since I came to Redford. The staff is also outstanding. If you want peace of mind for your babies, no one's better...
