Grand Haven Animal Hospital is the fourth vet I have been to due to traveling and moving. They have by far been the most professional and applied a human medical care approach when dealing with my cat. They found a short-term solution to his skin bumps and issues, while seeking a long-term solution to avoid taking pills everyday. I will travel hours out of my way and continue to bring my cat here for the duration of his hopefully, long life. Thank you for making myself and Dale happier again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND We took our dog in for a tick. It was after hours and they were open still. They got the tick out of our Lil man and was comforting and compassionate.

Dr Jen and her staff were amazing with my cat (Pickles). She needed extensive dental work with many extractions and had stopped eating. They were able to get her in for an appointment quickly as well as improve her health through antibiotics, appetite stimulant and special food prior to surgery. From her dental assessment appointment to surgery was approximately one week. If they were not able to coordinate all the care our cat needed and do it so quickly I do believe Pickles would have passed away. They are an amazing group and I highly recommend them.

I’ve been using Grand Haven Animal Hospital since the '80s, first under the leadership of Dr. Casey Nash and now under Dr. Jennifer Sherrill. Both have fostered a local animal care facility known for compassion and professionalism. This became more evident than ever when I had to care tor two aging cats with terminal health issues over a two-year period. Dr. Jen and her staff understood my reluctance to consider end-of-life decisions until it was best these two much-loved pets and for my family. When the times came say separate goodbyes, on both occasions she and the staff handled this sad process with remarkable compassion and grace. Because of this, It was a fairly easy decision to adopt two new cats, knowing Dr. Jen and her staff will be there for the inevitable health issues and emergencies that come with joys and pitfalls of pet ownership.
