How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Catonsville Cat Clinic
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Hands down the best vet experience I've had for my cat. Not only is staff friendly and knowledgeable, but they clearly care for the animals and even have a couple clinic cats that lounge around and help to welcome visitors. It just makes sense that a Cat-only clinic would be the best around when it comes to cats! It is a bit of a drive from me -- but absolutely worth it. My cat recently needed some extractions and cleaning and I got 3 opinions from 3 vets. The first vet wanted to charge 3x as much as what Catonsville Cat Clinic did. The second vet wanted to charge 5x as much AND take out all of my cat's teeth which was just unnecessary. Finally, I went to Catonsville Cat Clinic and they offered a conservative approach, only taking out the teeth that needed to come out according to X-Ray. At the same time, their cost was affordable and reasonable. Highly recommend for any cat owners out there, you will not be disappointed.

Oh my goodness! If you were even considering making an appointment here, don’t hesitate! A feral cat adopted us 14 years ago and we provide him with food/water/shelter + basic healthcare at our local vet. We decided to try Catonsville Cat Clinic when I couldn’t get an appointment locally. It is absolutely worth the drive and we have transferred all of his records over to Catonsville. The receptionist is nice and efficient, another tech whose name I didn’t catch was welcoming + helpful, Dr Nesbitt is friendly, smart, & professional. Danielle is a ROCKSTAR!!!! She held and calmed my cat while Dr Nesbitt examined him, gave him his rabies shot, and shaved off some matted fur with electric clippers. I *never* thought he would tolerate the clippers. Danielle expertly held him so she + Dr Nesbitt didn’t get scratched or bitten and he actually looked calm. He didn’t meow or squirm or hiss or struggle or anything. Danielle is exceptional!!!! Thank you Catonsville Cat Clinic! You have a new patient & my most sincere gratitude.

I have been taking my cats here for almost 18 years. The Dr is always so kind and compassionate. She is very familiar with her cat patients. Danielle is amazing. I recently had to put my girl cat down and couldn't stand to be there. Danielle told me she would stay with her the entire time. Im always referring people there.
