I cannot find enough excellent descriptive words to describe Dr King and his fine staff at Lakewood Animal Hospital. We have been using his services for over 10 yrs now. Dr King is a truly kind, compassionate person and genuinely cares about every pet in his care. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the best treatment is given and their owners are well-informed. Dr King has frequently called us after hours (even on a Friday night) to discuss our dogs treatment. Everyone at his office are patient, wonderful and friendly- every time. I am so thankful to have found them and can confidently/absolutely recommend his hospital to anyone in need of premium quality veterinary services. Thank you Dr King!

Dr. King and his staff are absolutely wonderful and we are very happy with their care of our fur children. Here are some highlights that make them great, I know these details would matter to me if I was looking for a new veterinarian: - The office overall is a very clean and welcoming environment with spacious waiting area and clean evaluation rooms. - Dr. King is very friendly and outgoing and so is the staff, they treat you and your animals with care and compassion. - Great communication, including follow up calls, check ins and text messaging option if you have a question or concern, they always reply and get back to you if needed. - Given they have 1 doctor in the building, they always go above and beyond to accommodate and will see your pet if they can squeeze them in. - Clarity on bill/costs ahead of time: Lakewood provides you a specific layout of the cost range depending on what is needed/possibly needed for evaluation and treatment. - They take annual photos of your pets and give you them, we cherish these, its a nice and personal touch. Thank you Lakewood Team! We appreciate all you do.

I would really like to thank Dr. King and the team at Lakewood Animal Hospital for everything they've done for Barbara this week. Because of the truly thoughtful, thorough and compassionate care she's received, Barbara will hopefully be making a full recovery soon. Every time I take an animal to Lakewood, I've had a terrific experience, whether it's for a routine check up, or something more serious like we had to deal with like this week. No matter what the appointment is scheduled for, I always have a peace of mind knowing my critters will be getting treated by people who are not only super knowledgeable but have an obvious love and dedication to animals. (Also shout out to Angie Hanson who is probably one of the most helpful and kind people on the planet)

Dr. King and his staff are the absolute best. In dire times, Dr. King was able to work with me and help make the right decision regarding my pets care when I was financially stressed. I appreciate Lakewood Animal Hospital so much.
