The team at Middle Georgia Veterinary Center is fantastic. Because we live in rural Georgia, the drive was a little over an hour. We spoke with the team on the phone and headed that way. Once we arrived, they performed X-rays on my pup and, within 5 minutes, notified us that our pup had GDV (Bloat), which is a life-threatening condition. Once they told me this, I responded that I needed to make a phone call. So, the team member left the room, and I never called anyone. I just needed to grasp that I was about to put my pup's life in a stranger's hands. Once the team members returned, I told them to perform the surgery. Then, I discussed with the office manager what our bill would be. And again, I didn't trust them because I was not local. But I paid the upfront bill of $3,500 and completely anticipated another $2,000 +/- bill once the surgery was complete. With all that said, The team performed the surgery with great success and extreme care for my pup and wife's emotional state. When we returned the following day, Our pup was ready to go home. We were notified that the surgery went well and that our bill was reduced to $2,200. Guys, As I said before, I was expecting to have a secondary bill after the surgery and would have never questioned it. Instead, they refunded me a portion of my original payment. Middle Georgia Veterinary Emergency Center is a team that you can trust with the life of your pup and trust not to take financial advantage of you in an emotional state. Thank you to the entire team and staff. They are amazing.

The staff were very nice and informative. While they were very busy, and having to deal with some very rude people they kept it very professional and still cared for the fur babies with compassion. They were very up front about prices (while it may seem expensive everything “emergency” human or pet is expensive) they let me know what to expect and I was glad to pay for their services. They took great care of my little 8 wk old kitten and we were sent home with great instructions and told we were welcome to call or come back for further treatment. My little one is back to herself and doing well. Super thankful for this clinic!! Highly recommend.

Went there and we were clearly taken advantage of. Was given an estimate on a Saturday of what high cost c-section would cost for my french bulldog along witha printout. Come Tuesday night when she was in active labor, took her in and all the staff was great, except for girl who brought us into the room to advise what was going to happen and costs. She handed us a new print out that now was significantly higher. We pointed it out to her, and she ADAMENT that it was a reprint. She told us this 3 times at least. So we of course paid what was due cause of circumstances of course. She also advised us that if we spayed the dog we would get about $300 back, well we got $164. Well a few days later my husband went to pick up her collar and talked to the receptionist and advised her of the discrepancy in the billing. She advised him to send pics of the bills which I did. Got a response that office manager would give us a call. Waited a week, nothing. Called, again told another message would get to office manager. They also informed me she doesn't come in too often and all she could do was pass the message along. Ok. A week or so later, sent a text again. No response to date. Filed a BBB complaint and guess what, still no response. They are not accredited and have a C rating. Attached are the invos. As you can see they were not the same, and the final one shows they added an OHE abbreviation to the inflated c-section line. Which stands for the spaying. So instead of $300 credit, apparently they charged us $800 for a spay?!! And that was on the final invo. As you can see they added that on the final to justify the inflated bill it seems.

I cannot praise Middle Georgia Veterinary Emergency Center enough. Last night are dog became very sick and we had to make the decision that no one wants to make in regards to their pet. We had to put our beloved 10 year lab down. Every single employee that we encountered was so comforting and genuinely caring towards the situation. They even presented us with a clay paw print of hers that we can keep forever. They had no personal connection, like our regular vet’s office would, to our sweet girl but I couldn’t have imagined anyone being more caring and loving towards her or us in the situation we were in.

Had to come here late at night due to an accident with my 5 week old puppy. When I walked in I was greeted by Kat, a front desk receptionist, who immediately yelled at me to get out, my puppy could have parvo. Never mind I why I was there had absolutely nothing to do with parvo. The entire time I was there Kat was rude, snappy and demeaning to not only customers but also her coworker, Mi. Mi, was sweet and attempted to explain what we needed to do to get signed signed but was having difficulty due to Kay yelling to get outside.
