I brought my pet English bulldog here a year ago. We brought him for a check up/nail trimming. My dog did not like to get his nails clipped and got aggressive when doing so. The vet recommended that my dog be sedated long enough to trim his nails. At first, the vet was very comforting but he then began to rush to get my pet done as they were so “busy”. He assured me that he did this kind of thing all the time and my dog would be just fine when I returned. I received a phone call to come pick up my dog but I was at work at the time. I sent a friend to pick up my dog only to find out that my dog died. We were not told that until she arrived and was pulled aside. My friend then passed a room where my dog was lying dead and uncovered. He was just laying dead on the table with the door open as if it was nothing. The vets all seemed anxious and could not give me a clear explanation as to how my dog died. I still to this day do not know how he died. They told me he died while he was sedated and then they said he died a hour before she got there. They then got straight to the point and asked that I pay for the cremation of my dog. I definitely do not recommend this vet as the whole business lacks compassion/professionalism. Do not trust these people alone with your animal as the same situation could happen to you.

I was so happy with my experience here. My dog was a new patient, and on his first visit we were walked straight back to a room to talk with a nurse. After talking with the nurse for a few minutes, the vet came back and started treatment on my dog. The vet answered all of my questions and gave me many helpful suggestions. The entire visit was less than 30 minutes. When I went to checkout I was very surprised that my total was less than 200 dollars. My dog has received very similar treatment at other vets and we’ve paid over 350 for those visits. Absolutely would recommend this place to others and we will be back.

We lost our baby Chowder last fall due to lymphoma . He was 11 years old and he was family . Dr. Matt Davis and staff were there every step of the way during his illness and up to the end ! Very compassionate and took time with my wife and I during this rough time ! Really great people ! Our new baby is a patient of Dr. Davis also.

I had to take my dog to the emergency vet in Fayetteville, and sadly wound up putting her down. It was a night I’ll never forget. I know they notified her Vet at Family Friend. Even though we hadn’t been clients of theirs for very long, it really hurt because we never received so much as a phone call or sympathy card from family friend. I think that really sucks. I’ll be looking for a new vet for my cats.
