The staff here were so nice. From the front desk to the exam room, everyone was very pleasant, and you could tell how much they cared. The exam was very professional, but they were also very sweet to our kitten. They gave us the time we needed to ask questions and helped us to understand their findings. Hopefully we never have to go back, but if we need to in the future, we would bring pets here again.

Dr. C and her staff can't be beat. The most caring place I've been. They saved my Louie's eye. We are so grateful to them. The best of the best.

Dr. Collins is excellent he saw my dog Herbert for an eye emergency on Father’s Day. He is very caring, thorough, and takes his time trying to find the right and best treatments. He even spent a lot of time checking potential drug interactions with other medications Herbert is taking. I can tell he really cares about each pet that he sees, and really understands the importance of a good bed side manner. In addition Dr. Carastro has been wonderful in treating Herbert and knows exactly how to handle my snippy little guy. Mark (with beard) also really cares and is so patient. My dog who is so snippy lets him handle him and Mark has a very gentle way of working with him. I am very picky with the care for my little guy and they go above and beyond. I truly believe they are the best eye specialists in all of the country! I can not say enough good things about the care we received. If it wasn’t for them Herbert would have lost both his eyes and that would be so hard on a dog that already has heart disease and seizures.

Dr. Carastro was very gentle with my 15 year old kitty. She also was very thorough in explaining (in words that I could understand) what is going on with my babies eye. The office and examination room were very clean. The staff were all friendly and professional. I drove up from the Dania Beach area. It was well worth the drive and easy to find. Thank you, Dr. Carastro and staff!

It is safe to say we will never go back here and do not recommend Dr Carastro. She was very unfriendly and had a completely flat affect. They were very forceful when handling my senior dog who is completely gentle and has previous knee surgeries. My dog loves going to the vet and usually rolls over for belly rubs but here she had her tail tucked, was shaking, and hiding from the vet.
