How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Animal Medical Clinic At Wellington

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Wonderful, compassionate staff and ver. Brought my dog in for a recheck and they reviewed his medical history and records thoroughly to follow up on the previous treatment & conditions, recommended alternatives for his continued treatment and provided an estimate and recommendations so I could weigh costs and treatment l’s available. Thank you!

Can’t thank Dr. Margaret Biggs and her awesome team for our great visit today with our 2 Boxers who are a hand full but they were so at the ease with the staff and are always so happy to visit their vet and staff. Thanks

Dr. Bigg did spaying of my puppy. I paid $950. One and one half months later I called because I had a question about how the incision was healing and I was told it would cost another $55 for the doctor to look at it. I will not be returning.

Would not take my dogs anywhere else. The staff are incredibly friendly and have been with Dr. Newman-Biggs a long time, which says a lot about the vibe of the surgery as a whole. Dr. Newman-Biggs is professional, incredibly knowledgeable and obviously caring. She explains things clearly in layman's terms and you never feel awkward asking questions. I highly recommend Animal Medical Clinic at Wellington - a solid reliable local office, great team, with a great leader!

So happy to finally find a vet that cares about the animals. I have been to other vets and it seemed like all they cared about was finding ways to sell you more stuff. Dr. Biggs is truly amazing and very knowledgeable. We have been going to her for years and drive over 20 minutes just to see her!
