I usually don’t leave reviews, but Dr. Julia Blackmore deserves it. I drove all the way from Miami to see her, a 2 hour ride. My little dog had an incident where he couldn’t walk for a few hours. After going to the regular vet, he recommended I go to a veterinary neurologist. I called around my area, everyone was telling me on the phone they could charge up to $5,000 to find out what was wrong with him. They also would not be friendly or ask how my pet was. I ended up calling this vet, Dr. Julia Blackmore and the receptionist/assistant is so sweet and very caring. She scheduled an appointment for the following day, and needless to say the doctor is amazing. She didn’t think it was necessary at that point in time to do any testing as she was sure what it was. Sent him a prescription and would call daily to check in with me and ask how he is. To this day, I still speak to her when he needs to take other meds just to see if it would be okay. She’s amazing.

My experience was AMAZING!! Cannot recommend enough! Dr. Blackmore is the kindest, most caring, compassionate vet I have ever met and she spent so much time explaining and going into detail. Immediately put my mind at ease. This woman deserves awards!! After having a negative experience with BluePearl, this is the only veterinary neurologist I recommend. It is so worth the drive (2.5 hours for us). If you are on the fence, don’t be! From the moment you call and make the appointment, your pet will be in the best hands :-)

Earlier this year my precious kitty was on death's door, and after taking her to 3 other veterinarians and veterinary specialists who had no idea what was going on or what to do, Dr. Blackmore is the one who saved her life!! Not only did she save my "miracle kitty" (as she called my Yuki), but she called me several times after to see how she was doing!! This practice goes above and beyond, and Dr. Blackmore is an expert in her field. I drove from Brevard County to see her and it was so worth it! Thank you, Dr. Blackmore and team, for saving Yuki.

Dr. Blackmore and Lisa are not only brilliant at what they do, but they are the most compassionate and caring people I have ever met. Not only did Dr. Blackmore save my dog's life, she taught me tricks and tips to help make caring for my dog easier. She is the most welcoming, sincere, kindest person I have ever met and I feel blessed that she was able to help me during a very hard time.
