How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Banfield Pet Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I want to recognize Maddie for giving me such great service and care with my elderly dog yesterday. She was very kind, understanding and explained everything very well. I went ahead and transferred my account from the John Young location to this one because the few times I've been here I always feel very taken care of. I think Maddie is a model employee and is in the right business for showing compassion and empathy for fur babies.

The person in charge of serving customers is super rude. I don't speak English and I don't help myself and I have my dog assigned to this branch. He treated me poorly, and he is indifferent to customer service. When I asked him if he spoke Spanish he told me no and he didn't look for a way to help me. I don't know what his name is but he has colored hair. like yellow and orange.

I always schedule my dogs appointments online through his account. I have never had any trouble with scheduling. I always receive a text message and a call from the office to confirm the appointment. I have my dog on the banfield plan which is great for preventative health. It does not help that much with cost if you have an emergency. This location has treated my dog for a health issue and preventive care and I am always happy about the treatment they provide. My dog recently went in to get his teeth cleaned and I am beyond happy with the result. The vets are great and the staff always answer any questions I have.

Friendly staff, knowledgeable doctors, very clean space. I always take my dogs there, I got a health plan for them with a reasonable price. I love the preventable care which I drop off my dogs and they do all the basic exams and tests for (fecal, blood, parasites, etc). So far so good.
