Dr Gerard and his staff are amazing! Dr. Gerard is extremely knowledgeable and professional!! What makes him so special is his compassion, empathy and communication to his furbabies parents. We recently lost our little girl Carlee to a cancer diagnosis. He walked with us thru what was initially shock and guided us thru the last few weeks to make her comfortable. She unfortunately passed at MetVet after hours a week ago but the beautiful card, his handwritten message to us and the staff signing brought peace to us. Bravo Dr. Gerard and with much Thanks for all you did for Carlee!! I am sure she is looking down upon you and saying Well Done!

I've traveled a lot and my dog has seen several vets. Dr. Gerard is the one vet who I feel comfortable with, since he is extremely thorough and caring. The staff here is always friendly and accommodates my (sometimes) frantic phone calls. I would not take my dog anywhere else.

I have taken my dogs here for years. It feels like home. I leave them here when I go out of town and I am confident they are loved and cared for. I have had dogs with issues over the years and Dr. Gerard and Dr. Morgan are both very attentive and make themselves available for questions.

Our dog had a dental emergency after she avulsed 3 teeth during a panic attack in a storm while we were out. Our former regular vet was not at all helpful. Dr. Gerard stepped in, explained the issues in lay terms unaware that my husband and I are both M.Ds, performed the oral surgery inclusive of 3 root extractions (roots had been torn from 1 pre molar). We picked up our Grand Bassett just a few hours later -a bit groggy but her tail was wagging. We wish to give this doctor many more stars.

I CANNOT say enough about this place! I came in and my cat was in bad shape (blood in urine, ended up having terrible stones in his bladder…8massive ones to be exact). Dr. Gerard and Lynzee as well as the front office staff and everyone I encountered were amazing! They were communicative and did everything they could to help my baby and FAST! I fully trust the staff and believe they got to the issue immediately and saved the day! I can’t thank them enough and highly recommend this place for your pets needs! ♥️
