I can't say enough good things about Dr. Herb. He is very understanding and listens to your concerns. I would not trust the care of my beloved therapy dogs to anyone else. His staff is friendly and helpful as well.

Dr Herb is the best vet I have found in 10yrs here in Jacksonville. He is personable, informative and I’m convinced he can treat or fix just about anything. Pricing is fair and he is responsive to the pet owner about all steps of care. He is very compassionate with the pet too. I could never say enough good about this vet to accurately express hike highly I would recommend him and I show cats so have crazy things out of the norm that I present to him.

Dr. Herb is amazing and the only doctor I will go to for my animals. But the receptionists have no clue what they are doing and patty specifically is extremely rude. I recently found out that my golden has cancer and there is no sympathy at all. She has an attitude and looked at me with disgust. I feel extremely uncomfortable when going in only because of the people they hire for the front desk. PATTY is a disgusting human being and if they really want to have people feel welcomed they need to put her else where. I’m contemplating looking for a new vet in the future and I’m so sad bc I will miss dr herb. I’ve been seeing him for over 5 years and I have never had such a bad experience with the front desk. And of course it has to be when my dog only has a week to live. Please be careful taking your babies here bc you will leave with no help and possibly in tears due to the disrespect.

Dr. Herb is amazing! He’s personable yet honest, and he did great at making my Great Dane puppy feel comfortable with his first visit. Even got on the floor to his level before doing any vaccinations or exams. He really took the time to go over every detail in regards to nutrition, vaccinations, health and safety of my dog. He helped me with any concerns I had and does the research to back up his teachings with science. Reasonably priced and clean practice as well.

The best! I have a small farm with horses, dogs, cats, chickens, goats…… would not use any other vet to take care of my crew here. We love everyone at Atlantic Veterinary Hospital. Thank you for being so wonderful.
