How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Pet Wellness Center LLC
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

More than 2 years ago Max, at 12, was diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease. 16 months ago, it got worse. He was found to have large tumors on his liver and near his spleen. His prognosis was that he had a couple of weeks to live. In August, a happy and spry Max celebrated his 15th birthday. Thank you, Doc Iris and Kim for keeping my best friend alive and thriving!

Dr. Iris Ramirez & team are amazing! I have been taking my Maltese to Pet Wellness Center weekly for 4 months now to get Ozone/Cancer treatments. Dr. Iris & Kim are amazing they treat my fur baby like it’s their own. They are the most caring veterinarian I have ever meet. I’m so glad I have found them. 💗

Our dog was diagnosed with spindle cell sarcoma 5 months ago and conventional veterinary medicine recommended removing the tumor and subjecting him to multiple radiation therapy treatments by a veterinarian oncologist under general anesthesia. The recommended treatment was simply too aggressive for our almost 12 year old dog, a valued family member. Dr. Iris has not only extended his life but her treatments have given him the ability to jump up onto his sofa again after being unable to do so for months. We highly recommend Dr. Iris. She has saved our dog’s life and he hasn’t experienced pain or discomfort using her treatment program.

Dr. Iris changed the meds my almost 12 yr old mastiff was taking, ones kinder to her body and liver. Can I tell you, in a week, she has shown much improvement in her mobility. We are still working up to the suggested dosages, each day is better. She’s even smiling again while sunbathing in the lawn. Sprinted a bit with my other dog chasing something in the yard. So happy. So very grateful for the recommendation I received to see Dr. Iris. ❤️
