Do you know how in cartoons, the dogs never want to go to the vet? It’s like … a threat? My dog missed that memo. When we pull into the parking lot of McGregor Vet, he starts hollering in his happy Frenchie talk and tries to lunge out of the car. When we board him there, it’s offensive how much he doesn’t want to come home. But I get it. He loves it there as much as we do. McGregor vet has been with us since the beginning. I was so scared of getting our first dog. What if we weren't good parents? When we brought our Homer there for the first time, I came with 2 pages of questions TYPED. I thought for sure they were going to think I was crazy, but they have never made me feel anything other than respected and loving. We never have a preference on doctor when we go there because their staff is EXEMPLERY. Homer has had a lot of issues over the years with allergies. After Hurricane Ian, he ran face first into some debris and nearly lost an eye. After going to a specialist in Naples who failed us and we almost lost him, Dr. Jones took matters into her own hands and told us she would take care of him herself. We didn’t care if he lost his eye, as it wouldn’t have affected his quality of life. We just wanted to make sure we didn’t lose him. She saw him every other day and did laser treatments, and then we moved to a few times a week, and then once a week, once every other week. The staff, the doctors, these people CARE. They are part of our village because Homer is part of our family. Our first baby. Years later, Homer has both eyes and is as happy as ever. Thank you, McGregor Vet. We truly love and appreciate you all.

They saved our cat's life after another Vet almost killed him. I can't thank Dr. Courtney enough for her work and advice in treating our beloved cat Tango. about 19 months ago we seeked help for a 2nd opinion. We originally used a vet that was convenient and close to our home, but Tango developed Asthma in 2020. For a few years he got steroid depot shots, but in 2023 they became less effective and they switched him to an oral steroid. Long story short, he was overdosed and developed severe diabetes that almost killed him. It was so bad that he almost couldn't walk anymore, got necropsy in this legs. They said we have to stop steroids - knowing that this would cause him coughing and having trouble breathing. With no idea or plan for some alternatives. Fast forward - thanks to Dr. Courtney he is a happy cat today. Necropsy fully gone, and for 2 months now he is in remission and doesn't need insulin anymore. He was on Insulin for 18 Months. He is still on his Asthma medication, which is an inhaler and he takes it well. Dr. Courtney helped him in his worst shape, we thought we'd lose him. I'm incredibly thankful to have our Tango back, our fun, loving, cuddly, witty cat! He rules our home and is back to his happy himself.

McGregor Vet is one of a kind. I've been a client for at least 15 years. Dr Laura and Dr Courtney are incredible veterinarians that care about their patients and pet parents. The entire staff (extra nod to Belinda ) is friendly, kind and always willing to find you an appointment for those urgent matters. These doctors take the time to educate the pet parents and no stone goes unturned to find answers; that includes acupuncture that worked like a dream for my boy Max. I trust them 100% and the way they care for their patients is priceless.

Have had Dr. Jones and Dr.Courtney Butts as vets for my kitties (and dogs) for close to 20 years ( when she was in behind the Golden Buddah). Great Docs, great staff, great hours. Wouldn't go anywhere else !

Thank you! for taking McILROY immediately!! I have known Dr Laura and Melinda for probably over 15 years. I started working as Property Maintenance in their old facility behind the Buddha, and I am so appreciated how, through the years, they have treated our pets as their own. Thank you, Dr. Courtney Life long Patron. The Wade and Rioux family.
