How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Robinson 24-Hour Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We came in on Friday because our bloodhound who is also a retired deputy for search and rescue needed immediate attention. He is a resilient dog and shows very little signs when he is hurt or sick but on Friday he went from zero to 100 within the matter of hours. Robinsons took him in and immediately started testing; he ended up having to stay due to a blood infection. This establishment has been nothing but amazing. They have called us with updates, ensured he would be taken care of & gave him the best care. This morning our boy was able to come home and continue out patient treatment. Thank you to everyone at this office for making sure our boy was taken care of and able to come home !

We rushed our GSP to Robinson 24 Hour Hospital with concerns about a possible twisted stomach. Their staff was incredibly welcoming and stepped in right away, taking such great care of our pup. The facility is very clean, beautiful, and inviting. They quickly took X-rays and were able to ease our concerns, which meant so much in such a stressful moment. Dr. Robinson was thorough, compassionate, and took the time to make sure we understood everything. We are so grateful for the level of care and kindness we received, it made a scary situation much more manageable. Highly recommend this team if you ever need emergency care for your pet.

This hospital saved my cat’s life! My cat, Ricky Bobby, ate a string that traversed from mouth to colon unbeknownst to us; we thought she was just stressed from visitors. After days of not eating, puking, nor acting like herself, we brought her into Robinson late at night and were treated quickly and with so much kindness. We opted for light care in hopes some medication would help, still thinking it was just stress. The string was discovered the second night, our second visit, after she didn’t improve. The vet visually spotted the string in her mouth and after x-rays, Ricky was hospitalized and went into surgery early that morning. The vet kept us informed the entire way, were VERY transparent about costs the entire time which I appreciated greatly. It was more expensive than a typical vet, yes, but this happened over the weekend and I’m not sure she would’ve made it had we waited until her normal vet opened. Ricky came home that morning after the surgery to recover and the techs were so helpful and kind every time I called with a question/concern. I’m happy to report it’s been over a week and our Ricky Bobby is back to her normal, happy, healthy kitty self.

Our sweet girl went to Robinson for a laceration on her stomach yesterday, when doing x-rays they found she had swallowed a coin too and quickly got us a new treatment plan and patched her up overnight. We are so grateful that they found it before it turned into a second surgery or worse. Emergency visits are something you never wish for but it’s nice to know there’s a trustworthy 24 hour option available to us if ever needed again.

I want to thank each and every person at Robinson Emergency Vet for taking such good care of our Rottweiler (and us, his panicked parents) after he had an emergency surgery almost 2 weeks ago. Our boy is as good as new doing his Rottie rumbles and thrashing around with his ball. I appreciate all of the dedication from the team as they cared for and monitored him post-op. I appreciate them allowing us to come visit him as he recovered at their facility. My fiancé and I were met with kindness and empathy at every step of what was a scary process for us. I also appreciate the Robinson staff for communicating directly with our general vet about the procedure and ongoing care. Finally, I want to express my gratitude to Lillian for calling me directly to check in on him (she was one of the nurses caring for him post-op), it made me so happy to hear how adored he was as he had to stay a few days longer than we were expecting as he recovered. I feel confident he was in the best hands. I’m sure Blaze has a lot of new girlfriends over there at Robinson, but I’m so happy to have my boy back healthy and excited to play again. Here he is in his cute Robinson bandana!
