10/10! Trust me I was so worried as my cat is 15 years old going in for a full mouth extraction. I just cannot thank this place enough for the care that they have. I loved everyone I met! I wanted to give a special shout out to Victoria. I was kind of panicking, and she talked to me for ~15 min. I never felt rushed, or that I had to do the procedure. They genuinely sounded like they wanted to help. Anyways, here’s some pics of Sami. A funny one of her after the surgery with food all over her face 😂☺️

I am sharing my experience so other pet owners can make informed decisions. I brought two of my dogs, Gigi and BooBoo, to Pet Dental Center in Estero for dental procedures that required anesthesia. During Gigi’s procedure (February 2025), she experienced cardiac arrest under anesthesia and had to be resuscitated. The clinic could not provide a clear explanation for the cause of the cardiac arrest. Later, during BooBoo’s procedure (September 2025), he experienced severe airway collapse during anesthesia induction and ultimately passed away after transfer to an emergency hospital. After both incidents I requested the complete medical and anesthesia records. The records I received appear incomplete and missing important monitoring data, including ECG/EKG information and anesthesiologist documentation. I had specifically agreed to procedures only if anesthesia was managed by the board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist listed by the clinic. However, the records provided do not show anesthesiologist documentation or signature for the anesthesia care. The anesthesia induction for BooBoo appears to have been performed by a technician or trainee, despite my explicit verbal refusal of trainee involvement. The documentation also contains: • missing anesthesia monitoring data • no anesthesiologist notes • inconsistent patient weights • scratched-out medication entries • no documented post-event report after cardiac arrest I attempted multiple times to resolve these concerns directly with the clinic and requested clarification through certified letters, but I did not receive meaningful responses. Because of these unresolved concerns, I submitted a formal complaint to the Florida Board of Veterinary Medicine requesting review of the anesthesia protocols, documentation, and provider involvement in both cases. I encourage pet owners to ask detailed questions about: • who will actually administer anesthesia • whether a board-certified anesthesiologist will be physically present • how anesthesia monitoring data is recorded and preserved My goal in sharing this experience is transparency and awareness for other pet owners.

I cannot say enough good things about Pet Dental Center. They are OUTSTANDING in all aspects care, customer service, they check all the boxes. Dr. Gingerich is amazing. He knew exactly what was going on with our girl, and assured us once she had the needed surgery. She would be like a completely new dog and he was spot on. If your fur baby needs anything with respect to mouth/dental care do not go anywhere else. Pet Dental Center is top notch and the absolute BEST!

We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Reep and her team for the exceptional care they provided our 15-year-old cat, Bear. He was diagnosed with an ulcerating oral mass causing pain and intermittent bleeding. Despite the poor prognosis, Dr. Reep’s office quickly accommodated us—offering a same-day consult and adding him to their surgical schedule on short notice, even staying late to ensure he received timely care. Throughout the process, their team demonstrated outstanding professionalism, compassion, and communication. We received regular updates during his procedure, and Dr. Reep took the time to thoroughly explain her findings and treatment plan. She also coordinated directly with our local veterinarian to ensure continuity of palliative care at home. Although Bear was ultimately diagnosed with oral squamous cell carcinoma, the care he received gave us three additional weeks of comfort and quality time with him—something we will always be thankful for. I highly recommend Dr. Reep and her team to anyone seeking advanced dental or oral surgical care for their pet. Their expertise and compassion truly made a difference during an incredibly difficult time.

Let me begin with our doberman's cardiologist recommended Dr. Gingerich at Pet Dental Center as she needed to have 5 teeth extracted. We were in panic mode because she is currently on heart medication, which made the surgery and anesthesia process feel much scarier. Dr. Gingerich and the staff were incredibly welcoming and patient, and went above and beyond to explain the entire procedure and how they would use a cardiac-friendly protocol to keep her safe. They handled the surgery with genuine expertise and ensured she was comfortable and carefully monitored throughout. They also provided regular updates throughout the process which helped to ease our concerns. If you have a senior dog or one with special medical needs, this is the team you want taking care of them. Exceptional, high-tier care!
