How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Walton County Animal Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We took our rescue german shepherd in who can be very scared and distrustful. They handled him great, showed patience, and were able to do a sedated exam and ear infection treatment for us. Highly recommend

Dr. Jaimee Bumgarner is the BEST!! She has helped my senior cat lose weight and have a fantastic quality of life again. It's such a good feeling when you see your pet's personality come back. It wouldn't have been possible without Dr. Bumgarner, who was always easy to reach, went over different options and made sure I understood, and tailored a plan that worked for my kitty as well as my budget. I am *beyond* grateful. She cares, and it really shows!! I can't recommend her enough; best veterinarian I have ever encountered!! Thank you, Dr. Bumgarner!!!

I am now a cat mom of a precious little girl. She wasn't well when we took her to Walton County Animal Clinic. She is now running at full speed, playing, attacking shadows, and her tale. She's marvelous. Thank you WCAC for helping her to recover and for the discount we received on her monthly treatment.

I’m so grateful I found Dr. Jaimee Bumgarner. She has treated almost all my pets for one thing or another. I love that she explained things to me in ways I can understand, and that she offers different ways to treat things without just jumping to the most expensive treatment options. She is honest and you can tell she is really in it for the animals. That is the kind of Veterinarian you want and in my experience, also hard to find. Thank you 🙏
