I can’t thank Dr. Gessner and the team at Lyons Road Animal Hospital enough! They’ve been a huge part of Winston’s journey from the very beginning. I originally adopted Winston (formerly Paul) from them at an early age after Dr. Gessner rescued him and his sisters. It was truly a blessing in disguise because, since Winston was raised here, he feels completely at home at the vet, making every visit smoother and stress-free. As my first cat, I had a lot to learn, but the entire team was incredibly supportive in making sure Winston got all his vaccines and care up to date. The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated—this place isn’t just a vet for Winston; it’s his safe, secondary home. Not to mention, I also have friends who own the gaming lounge next door, so bringing Winston to visit both places has become part of our routine! I’m so grateful to have a vet that not only provides exceptional medical care but also makes us feel welcome and at home every time we visit. EXCELLENT experience! Very considerate and caring doctor and staff. Dr. Gessner is very patient and understanding. She is genuinely vested in finding out the best outcome for the pet. I visited the doctor after being dissatisfied with my previous Animal hospital. I finally looked around and researched before reaching out to Lyons Road Animal Hospital. My only regret is that I should have come to them years earlier.

Dr. Gessner is caring for our puppy with kidney disease we have gotten second opinions from multiple vets including specialist(the puppy needs a separate internal medicine specialist and nutritionist) the general opinion from the other doctors is that Dr gessner is "on point" and "insightful" and has done everything possible to insure the puppy lives long and is not in pain she has been both helpful and friendly and was also able to save us a lot of money on prescriptions, without her our puppy would die...
