While an emergency vet situation is never where you want to be, do not hesitate to trust this team with your fur baby. 2 weeks ago our 7 yr old doodle had a mass on his spleen burst, he was suffering internal bleeding with no symptoms other than extreme lethargy. This team quickly diagnosed his issue, explained thoroughly the cost of emergency surgery vs the risks and the high likelihood that the root issue was terminal cancer. Not cheap, but we made the decision to do the surgery to remove his spleen and the mass and do comprehensive biopsies. Despite our emotional state and the stress involved, the staff was super supportive explaining our options and in detail the costs. They line item worst case scenario costs and promptly credit back any unnecessary procedural costs. They called in a surgeon at 2am on July 3rd to save our Rylie’s life! Our boys incisions were clean, post op instructions clear and the proper meds/ surgical suit provided. We are lucky to report that Rylie’s biopsies came back clean and he is cancer free! This is the best money we have ever spent to have many more years with our angel doodle. I wish I could cite the names of the caregivers and drs, to credit them here (super emotional situation) but let’s just say everyone at this hospital was supportive and professional and extremely competent and god forbid there is ever another need for emergencies, I would never take my fur children anywhere else. Thank you all! We are blessed to have been under your care.

We first had to use the ER a week ago and our situation was unique and scary. They nailed it and provided for us in a difficult time. Dr. Ford and team were amazing in the ER. We just had a follow up with Dr. Goldrick to see how our dog is doing and to establish hopefully a long-term relationship here for her. Unbelievably good Dr. !!! We have had six English Springer spaniels in our lifetime and as you can imagine, a variety of vets have been in our lives. This is by far the most capable and professional office we have experienced in over 30 year! Further, everyone we interacted were effective communicators; their answers were clear and concise and they all know what they're doing. You'll be in good hands. If I could give six stars I would.

Such a great place for routine care and emergency care. We have brought our dogs in for both types of visits and have always had the best care by the team. We recently brought our tiny Yorkie in for hypoglycemia and the team was prompt and attentive to her needs. She gave us options as far as treating her and they were very honest. I respect them for not doing unnecessary blood tests and giving us choices once she was stable. Highly recommend!

I had a stray cat that my household and I had been feeding for several weeks. A gray and white cat, we named Bean. He was such a sweetie, and would come by my house and befriended my indoor cats thru the windows. We started leaving food for him, and he started visiting regularly, then every evening. Even started responding when we called him Bean. Tonight, he came to our front door for his dinner, and he came limping and a foot so swollen it was double in size than his other paws. I could see the tears in his eyes from him crying in pain. My household and I had debated surrendering him for several weeks, but he seemed to be living a happy life until tonight. So I knew I needed to do something to help him. I didn’t even discover him in this position until 10pm. I got in contact with veterinary Medical Center in Lakewood Ranch, and both Elena and Sarah that I spoke to over the phone did wonders to help ensure they could take him, and that I could bring him over so late. They were very professional, very kind, very gentle and understanding, because it was not an easy decision. I didn’t realize how attached I had become to him until bringing him in. But I already have 4 cats, my house can’t fit any more unfortunately. So I surrendered him tonight, and seeing how hard of a decision it was, Elena and Sarah assured me I made the right choice bringing him in, and they are gonna help get him fixed up and hopefully put up for adoption soon. He’s such a talker, and so sweet and lovey. Never once heard that cat hiss or growl. He just wants all the love he can get. I will make sure to keep getting updates on him. But just wanted to shout out Elena and Sarah for all their help and support in getting little Bean taken care of tonight. Thank you both!

Our second emergency visit, different pet, definitely recommend! Can't say if their prices are reasonable, nothing to compare to, yes its expensive as emergencies are! The staff are very friendly and kind. The Dr's we have dealt with are awesome, really feel they do not push anything on you & truly care about the animals! Very thankful they were able to remove a foreign object from our bulldogs belly by a scope procedure (much less $ & recovery than surgery would have been!
