We have had the opportunity to use Vet Care Express twice, and both experiences were outstanding. Cheryl has been an incredible help to us in safely trapping a highly reactive cat who needed veterinary care. What impressed us most was her compassion and patience. She took her time, never rushed the process, and always made sure the cat’s well-being came first. Her calm and considerate manner made a very stressful situation much easier to handle. It’s rare to find someone who combines true professionalism with such genuine care for animals and their families. We are so grateful for her help and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who needs expert and compassionate assistance with their pets.

This is the second time I write a review for this wonderful business, and once again I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the work Cheryl does. She has been there for us during some very difficult moments with our cat. We’ve reached out to Cheryl a couple times before when we needed help trapping a highly reactive cat so she could be seen by the vet. Cheryl took the time to observe her behavior and figured out the gentlest, least stressful way to safely get her. Throughout the entire process, she also showed so much kindness and consideration toward my mom -the cat owner, which meant the world to us. Unfortunately, this time our kitty was diagnosed with an illness that severely impacted her quality of life, and we made the heartbreaking decision to let her go. Cheryl and Lumi handled everything with professionalism, compassion, and genuine care. Their calm, sweet presence made an incredibly sad day a little easier. I’m deeply thankful for their dedication and the way they support both pets and the people who love them. Highly recommended.

My husband was on travel and my 100 pound male German Shepherd Chief became ill and disabled had to be rushed to the vet. I was not able to lift Chief into my vehicle so I reached out to Vet Care Express. Cheryl answered the phone, quickly gathered my information and showed up on time so I could make my appointment with the vet. When Cheryl and Lumi arrived they were able to skillfully lift Chief into their SUV and transport him to the vet. I followed behind in my truck. When we arrived at the vet Cheryl and Lumi were able to carefully get Chief out of their SUV and help me get him inside. We arrived a little early. At this point Cheryl and Lumi could have left but they didn't. They stayed with Chief and I until I was sure I no longer needed assistance. They also knew from experience that Chief was quite sick. They comforted Chief and were compassionate with me while we waited. I am so grateful to Vet Care Express. I couldn't have gotten the help I needed without them. Cheryl and Lumi were professional, compassionate and competent. I would highly recommend Vet Care Express and feel very lucky that they were available when I needed them.

They wouldn’t come to Tampa she said because the drivers walk away from the trucks. Can’t keep help in the Tampa area she said, so she would not come even though I had a septic dog and would pay cash desperately. He weighed 234lbs and I needed help. They don’t come to Tampa was her final words. I managed to scrounge neighbors later that day but it was too late. He died the next day. Not their fault but just don’t think from googling Tampa vet transport that they come to Tampa area.

I own an AirBnB property and a guest's elderly dog tragically passed away in the back yard of the property. Cheryl was extremely supportive and kind to the distraught guests and also to me. She explained the process clearly of taking the dog away to be cremated and made an otherwise horrific experience much more bearable for everyone involved. Thank you so much for offering this amazing service in Sarasota - we are truly blessed to have you here in our community! RIP, Chubs...
