Simply the best, better than any veterinary service in Palm Beach County. Dr. Krawitz and his staff are highly dedicated to client care. Accredited full service veterinary center that is open 24/7 365 which is an excellent business model in terms of one stop for all your pet’s needs. All my West Highland Terriers have received excellent care from well visits to highly specialized surgeries. Highly recommended.

My dog suddenly became very ill. It started with limping, followed by vomiting and diarrhea, so I rushed her to Calusa Veterinary Center’s 24/7 emergency hospital. We were fortunate to have Dr. Michael Mann as our veterinarian. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and took the time to perform a complete examination while explaining everything in terms I could easily understand. He showed genuine compassion—not only for my dog but also for me during a very stressful time. What I appreciated most was that Dr. Mann never pressured me into unnecessary or expensive testing. Instead, he recommended a thoughtful treatment plan, prescribed medication, and sent us home with clear instructions. I also want to recognize Jordyn, the veterinary nurse, who was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, compassionate, and attentive, making both my dog and me feel cared for throughout our visit. The reception team was equally outstanding. They greeted us with kindness, efficiently helped us with all of the paperwork when we arrived, and made the checkout process smooth and stress-free when we left. I followed up with my regular veterinarian the next day, and everything Dr. Mann had diagnosed and recommended was confirmed to be 100% accurate. Most importantly, my dog is doing much better today. I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care, honesty, professionalism, and compassion shown by Dr. Michael Mann, Jordyn, and the entire staff at Calusa Veterinary Center. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of emergency veterinary care. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my girl.

The absolute best. I have taken all my pets for care here for 20+ years. Dr Dermott and Blanca are the best team ever, Dr Dermott always knows what to do and takes such good care of my dog. She is so kind and makes you feel comfortable and spends time answering questions, plus she adores her patients like they are her own. I am so forever grateful for her. Shout out to Blanca, her nurse. Just the best. Shoutout to Betty, the best groomer there is. The pharmacy staff - so wonderful and to the amazing front desk girls. Special thanks to Dr. Rodriguez for recently helping my baby when he was in the ER. Thank you to all the staff who make a difference and take such good care of my Jack. Dr. D’Ortona is an exceptional veterinarian, and I am deeply grateful for the care he provided to my puppy, Leo. From the very beginning, he was thorough, calm, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain Leo’s condition clearly, reviewed prior treatment carefully, and approached everything with both precision and compassion. What stood out most was his integrity and attentiveness. He didn’t rush decisions, didn’t dismiss concerns, and made sure Leo’s comfort, safety, and long-term outcome were always the priority. In a situation that was emotionally stressful as a pet parent, Dr. D’Ortona brought clarity, reassurance, and trust back into the process. Leo’s recovery and progress speak volumes about the quality of care he received. I truly felt that my puppy was in expert hands. I didn’t see my review as of yet from over a week ago. I may be repeating myself, but it’s very important that pet owners in our area understand what a gift Calusa is. I made the mistake of changing Vets out of convenience, not out of my once again dogs best interest. We had to put our senior Dalmatian down due to Cushings disease. Dr. Turkell took care of us through my wifes grief and showed us the greatest of understanding. After 3 pairs of dals and having to deal with this loss for over 30 years, I urge anyone with end of life- or any other issues for their pets to contact Calusa. Many thanks to Dr . Turkell and staff for being so caring. Are 10 stars available ?
