Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

I will not be returning to GoodVets after my experience with Dr. Nicole Cohen. I brought my dog in for a follow-up after being treated for a UTI. He was back to peeing normally, acting like himself, and showing clear signs of improvement. A simple follow-up check and to get his flea, tick, and heartworm prevention situated. Instead, I was presented with almost $500 worth of recommended testing and add-ons that felt completely excessive given why I was there. When I declined the additional tests and simply asked for Heartgard, I was told they couldn’t prescribe it without another heartworm test. What really frustrated me was the way the conversation was handled. When I stated “I know he doesn’t have heart-worm we’ll just leave it at that”, I was met with a condescending response asking if I could “see inside his chest” to know he didn’t have heartworms. Afterward, I was told that I should have my previous vet send over records, even though I had already discussed those records with the clinic during my first visit, which I’ve only been here 3 times. I understand that veterinarians have protocols and recommendations they must follow, but there is a difference between educating clients and making them feel dismissed. The entire experience felt more focused on upselling services than listening to my concerns or providing reasonable care based on my dog’s situation. The support staff was excellent throughout the process, and they deserve credit for being kind, knowledgeable, and professional. Unfortunately, the veterinarian’s attitude overshadowed those positive interactions. Trust is everything when it comes to your pet’s healthcare, and after this experience, I simply don’t feel comfortable placing that trust here again.

We were here on vacation. Had an emergency with my chihuahua. Good vet got us in right away and took great care of her. Highly recommend them

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this pet clinic. I brought my dog in because she had been scratching and itching a lot, and while they mentioned it could possibly be fleas, they said they would examine her further. They immediately took her to the back, and we were not allowed to be with her because they said she was scared and does better without us. Shortly after, another staff member came in with an estimate for nearly $750 worth of services, many of which felt excessive and unnecessary. After reviewing the options, I specifically asked questions about an injection they wanted to give her and clearly stated that I did not want the injection. The staff member removed it from the screen and handed me the tablet to sign. Later, after we paid and left, I reviewed the paperwork and noticed the injection was still included in the charges. When I called to question it, I was told they had already given my dog the shot. At no point during the visit did anyone tell me they administered it, explain why it was still being given after I declined it, or even inform me where/how it was given. The biggest issue here is the lack of transparency, communication, and consent. Pet owners deserve to know exactly what treatments are being performed on their animals and what they are being charged for. My advice to others: be very wary of pricing, be very clear on what services are actually being provided, and make sure staff gives you a full review of everything being done before agreeing to treatment. Our mistake was trusting the process and not asking more questions. After reading other reviews, it seems similar experiences have happened to others as well. It’s disappointing to feel like, in a corporate setting, profit comes before genuine care and honest communication.

Not worth the price we were charged. Brung two of our dogs, they barely had an exam done. My dogs were barely touched, exam took less than 1 minute. I’ve seen a thorough examination done by other Veterinarians and this place did not meet our expectations. Staff was very quick to try to add things to our bill after vocalizing we aren’t interested and it seemed like they were being pushy and rushing the appointment. Also, upon vaccination, one person was sent in and she could not vaccinate the dogs on her own. I had to hold my dogs in order for her to vaccinate them. For the price we paid, we should’ve received the right care and attention for our pets. If I wanted a rushed appointment, I would’ve gone to the HSTB. Nice place but we look for a caring, dedicated team to make our pets feel welcomed and cared for. This place isn’t it for us.

Same-day booking, visit and treatments were easy and quick. Very nice facility and staff. They were transparent with the treatment plan and pricing (it's expensive no matter where you go, but theirs was competitive). They took care of my kitties with patience and kindness. Will bring my dogs too when they're due for their annual stuff.
