Everyone at the emergency room at Riverview Animal Hospital is awesome. They listened attentively and compassionately to my feelings and needs. Riverview Urgent Care is wonderful! We were from out of state and our 4lb. Chihuahua was in pain. I called several vets in Durango and near by everyone said they couldn’t get us in for 2 weeks. Riverview Urgent Care got us in first thing the next day! We were treated so well by everyone there! I really wish I could remember their names. the front desk, the technician and Dr. Amy were so warm, welcoming, professional, skilled and passionate about their work. They diagnosed and treated our little guy and he was back up and full of energy in no time! Dr. Amy and staff we thank you and so does Peewee! You are a special team of professionals!

I was concerned that the weekend emergency program couldn't fit in my sick dog, but after triage they did take him. He needed extraordinary care which the staff performed very well despite the caseload. They saved my best friend's life! They sent us home the next afternoon with a comprehensive plan of care and a realistic prognosis. Yes it was expensive but the life of my best friend is worth it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hospital and their whole staff.

Our regular vet office did not have an oncall vet due to, I'm assuming, county fair this past weekend. Wouldn't you know we had an emergency. Riverview to the rescue. They were fabulous with him. And I would give 10 stars if I was able. Thank you so much for everything. You guys are great. He is doing wonderfully after surgery.

The people at Urgent Care were incredibly kind and helpful! To be able to get our sick dog seen quickly was so nice since most area vets had a 2-4 month waiting list. We had heard nothing but good things about Riverview hospital and they were definitely all true!!
