Exceptional staff. I was in a bind trying to get my brother's dog seen for a serious medical emergency. They were able to have my brother's dog be seen & quickly got him on antibiotics. Very very grateful to have gotten Bandit the medical help he needed. The front desk (Wendy) is extremely kind & helpful. The vet techs are patient & very caring. I was visiting Farmington, they worked with me on appointment times. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Visiting from out of area. My 15 year old little dog needed urgent care. Call all around Durango and nobody could fit her in! I called Home Sweet Home and they were able to squeeze her in and help her! Thank you so much for having the compassion and making time for my fur baby !!! I wish other vets would follow suit.

Dr. Amanda Hawkins is the absolute best in the area! She is professional, kind, and provides exceptional care! My English Bull Terrier, Dexter, had surgery there this week and words cannot express what a wonderful job Dr. Hawkins and her team did! This is the only vet clinic in La Plata County that I feel 100% confident referring people to. The front desk (Wendy) is very kind and helpful, all the vet techs are patient and caring, and Dr. Hawkins is amazing 👏 Thank you for being so patient and kind with our Dexter!!! 💕 **We have taken our pets here since Dr. Kirsten was the owner and always had good experiences with her... we were devastated when she closed the clinic and had very disappointing experiences at other clinics in the area during the closure. Finding a vet we could trust to care for our pets felt like a hopeless task until we learned Home Sweet Home was reopening under the new ownership of Dr. Hawkins.

They were the only ones that would take my kitty. I loved all the ladies there. Very kind. This will be our vet!! And they didn't overcharge us. I highly recommend!!

Dr Hawkins and, in fact the whole staff, were super kind, courteous and informative. They got me in quickly and took their time with my questions. Will definitely be moving my both my pets to this clinic!
