We have a corn snake which experiencing some feeding problems. They were able to get us in quickly and are one of the two places that service reptiles. The staff was very friendly, and the doctor who took care of our snake was very knowledgeable. He was able to give us confidence about what was going on, as well as provide several options for how to best take care of our snake. He also suggested some ways to follow up to make sure that everything was going well. Overall a fantastic visit. There's initial upfront cost for first time visitors, but afterwards there is no upfront cost for follow-up visits. Prices were reasonable, especially for an exotic pet.

I was nervous bringing my bunny in for a spay, knowing that most vets are not bunny experts, but when Dr. Hawman walked into the room with a handful of dandelions for my bunny I knew she was in good hands. The spay and recovery went well and she and her bunny boyfriend are doing better than ever with the mood swings a thing of the past. I highly recommend Durango Animal Hospital for your furry friends!
