Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Dr. Bath was attentive, treated my daughter’s cat with care and provided a medical program for him to heal. The pricing appeared reasonable in comparison to other veterinary hospitals in Santa Clara County. The support staff were equally kind and attentive.

This clinic used to be wonderful, but they seem to have declined with the new veterinarian. It’s become more of a racket than animal care. The reason I say this is they were holding our cat’s renewal prescription hostage, unless she went in for an exam. Heart medication which she would die without. So we took her in and they again recommended the same thing as before, lab work and antibiotics. She is 23 years old, and doing lab work every time is just a moneymaker for the clinic. Then they delayed the renewal of her critical heart medication, which I pay $.15 for online. It was either let her suffer, or go buy some from them. They charged $28 for 15 pills, which comes out to. $1.86 per pill. Wow!!!

We have been taking our dog to the Bloom Plaza Animal Hospital for 17 years now. The staffs and the doctors are very professional, caring, and friendly. We feel like our dog is the only patient they have! They always accommodate us, at our convenience, which is very nice.

Very expensive. Came here a year ago and the prices were reasonable. Not any more. Was told they were bought out and they have no control over the pricing. Didn’t even get to talk to the vet. Everything was relayed by a technician. And to top it off I got a quote for a neuter and it was almost $900 even with my puppy package discount. Will not be going back.
